Default winter mods to the night train......

best thing about winter. modifications to the nighttrain

been putting the flat black on. took tank emblems off. i am thinking about a flat silver or gloss black flames on tank and fenders also.

considering blacking out lower fork sliders and handlebars

before:






turn signals



shift linkage:



emblems gone:



timing cover got some armor all on it:



solo seat removed protective decal:

Looks good! I've been blacked out for a couple of years now, and love the look. I'd say go for it with the bars and forks!

yea it was the plastic one. i taped it off and sprayed it.

Looks sweet! I'd black out the fork sliders, front wheel hub and rim, triple trees, black floating rotor up front, and add a chrome timing cover just to set it off a bit... I'm in the process of blacking out my Ultra, and if you check my album, my sporty's pretty blacked out as well. Like Lundee said, blacker the better.
