Default How ironic my story gets published now

Months ago I wrote a story about my first ride alone on my Sportster. I also posted it here, some may remember. Anyway, I sent this story to an online Woman Rider's magazine way back then. Never hearing another word from them other than "we received it" I thought no more about it. Then 2 days ago they sent me an email saying they were reviewing it and wanted a pic of me ON my bike instead of the one where I was standing beside it. (I kinda took it as if they didn't think my story was good unless they saw me ON it or something, lol). Anyway, I sent them an email telling them to never mind about the story as I'm selling the bike. Just this minute they sent me an email saying they put it up on the website anyway because they thought it inspiring. Who woulda thunk it and how Ironic is THAT? I won't even be riding my own anymore....oh well.....Nice of 'em anyway. They changed my title though....

Are you a professional writer by chance?
If not, you should be. Great story.

Kudos Rhonda. I remember it well and brought it up when you were thinking of selling your Sporty. I just read it again and still like it. Good Job.

"My heart was pounding"
"My fingers were sweating"
"and ran my trembling fingers across"

These quotes are just from the first paragraph.

I'm going back to read some more!

What a thrill this must be for ya Rhonda!
