This is probably of no help to you, but I am surprised that your J&S jack has wheel stops. Mine does not. Instead, it has a set of bolts that can be screwed down to contact the floor to prevent movement of the jack.

Oh .. Are you talking about the metal supports that swing down and seat into the holes on the jack frame. (I am sure that there is a more technical term.)

yeah... mine hit the outside of the frame... How do they swing down and seat into the holes? Do they go on top of the 2 stops or under them?

I had the same problem with mine. I forget exactly how I resolved the problem but I think I raised the jack up all the way and swung the support arms outward and then back in. If your having a problem, contact J&S. I hear there customer service is real good. The jack is excellant.

Can you take a photo of what you are seeing? Maybe we can better help if we see what you see.

Also, on the stops, you should have the long straight portion toward the stop holes on the bottom frame..

You may have to spin them all the way around, the short section should be up when engaged

You might even have to remove the hydrolic jack, so you can get the frame higher to spin them around.
