Fast rides!!!!!

That gauge package was so blurry it was hard to read but it looked to me like the rider was hovering around 300K so I don't see that as insanely fast. Without a speedo healer on board the bike is likely going around 170mph because sportbike speedometers are way off when they get out there. You have to remember, these bikes cruise at 100 like your Harley does at 30.
Here's a rider on a Busa pulling the redline in 5th at 320k and never getting it into 6th. Watch the mini van at 1:03. Now that's a pucker moment.

Way wrong, it's not a blur at all. Things just go by real quick and you are not looking at the road right in front of the fender. Rather, your eyes are focused on the things coming up a quarter mile away.
That looks like km/h and not mph. He was probably going around 165 mph.
Still, insanely stupid.

The first rider in the original post hit roughly 300K however, the speedo could be off by as much as 20% at that speed meaning he was very likely around 150mph but possibly as high as 160. I agree, the riders choice of time and place was stupid however, there are times and places that make it fun and very safe as opposed to unsafe as shown in either video.
I'm glad my Harley doesn't run that fast. I would have to try it just one time.

Hey if you figure one time out let me know. I've been trying that one for years and still haven't figured it out because it's a real rush and in your blood forever. You just have to figure out the right time and place. The rest is simply a twist of the wrist.
