Old myth:

Harley riders ride bar to bar.

Wing riders ride restaurant to restaurant.

I'm the latter.....

We were out riding today and I saw a goldwing and did not believe how quiet that thing was, it made no noise at all. Almost sounded like something electric.

Although sometimes that would be nice. I have switchable capt call exhaust in my boat. Sometimes I like romping and making a hell of alot of noise and sometimes I switch them off and cruise nice and quiet.

I rode 750 miles each way to eat a Moonburger in IL. Early April with rain/sleet/snow across the TN/NC mountains and high winds. The longest distance rider came from BC Canada across the Rockies! (on a Honda) The saying is, "If you don't make it to Moonshine , you ain't a motorcycle rider, you're just a motorcycle owner"

And I was on a Honda too, so what's your point?
