Default Lighted spark plug wires

Can someone please tell why on all the lighted sparkplug wires it says not for fuel injected? I was loking to get a set to go on my StreetBob. I found a set in the town I live in and alost bought them today. I done some research on the net but they all say not for fuel injected. Thanks Eddie

My guess would be in the ion sensing through the spark plug for the knock supression system.

This is the reason, it will do no harm. You can run them if you want.

The Engine light is flashing because the system is having a problem.

Ok. Thanks guys for a the replies you have posted. I talked to Harley Davidson and one of there techs said that it has to do with the ohms. He said that it will change the ohms that is running threw the comp. Therefore it will tell the comp there is something worng and the comp will try and fix the problem. Thats why the engine light will flash. This WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS AND THE COMP WILL SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN.

Default Hey

maybe you should put some candles somewhere eles pal. If you dont have a good answer then dont reply to anything I post. If you need something to play with go to Wal Mart and buy yourself a toy. Not trying to be a but just dont really need no smart butt answer. Thanks for NOT Posting again

Well, did you get them to work? Did you take them back and find something else? What happened?
