California has loosened federal marijuana laws, haven't they?

We're not talking about the relationship between state and federal laws are we?

sorry, i'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon here. the pics you posted only show someone pulled over, not really evidence of harassment (though it very well may be).

the thing that i don't get is that it has been brought up time and again that myrtle beach does not want you or your money. why are people trying so hard to give money to someone who doesn't want it? give them what they want, go somewhere else.

you know, 60 some odd years ago, the myrtle beach rally didn't exist. go find another small town somewhere that would love to have a bazillion bikers come in and spend money, then 60 years down the road, maybe bikers will still be talking about that rally.....

(do not think for a second that this post was intended in any way as support for mb's new laws, etc. it is total bs.)

Reading the article and reviewing the photos it sounds like a protest agin the helmet law and the attendees knew full well they were getting a 100$ ticket and in another photo it showed a lawyer collecting them for representation of the offenders. It will be interesting but I still think it was a great cause that many rallied for.

As said we're not talking about Federal Law. But I also do believe that the US Courts ruled against CA's marijuana laws.

More of this to come in the Twilght Zone of America. I applaud the protest, it was American.

I see and it says in the end if specifically state "city" so they were in the city limits of myrtle beach. My take is that i appreciate their willingness to stand up against the law but the point is that it is now the law. I am still going down for bike week and my idea of opposing thier laws in to stay in murrels INlet and out of the city of MB. I can spend my money at Ironhorse, or SBB and have a blast and stay at Lakewood. I have no reason to go north and mess with the cops. I know who will win that battle and I dont' care to fight it. I stand behind all the protestors and what they believe in though.
