hi been around a long time building cars from ground up but i must say hd accessorie templates for drilling holes are the worst i have ever seen
what do you think??????

He is talking (willis) about the paper templates that come in the package you buy.....
like, if you want to install the little chrome do-dads on an Electra Glides saddlebag lid, Harley gives you a little paper template you are suppose to use to mark where to drill the holes. It takes a good eye and extra measuring before I would depend on a Harley template.

Similar to my rule:

Measure 12 times, check the manual, measure 12 more times, cut, and still be off by 1/16" lol

Me and tape measures don't get along

Ahh. If it's too difficult to measure drill the holes in a test piece (chunk of wood, plastic...) and try the fit first.

Tour Pak Template for seat bites. Better to tape, mark, measure, measure, mark, measure, and then drill.....
