Default Ramp?!

Ok so once I get my bike I'll probably keep it in a shed in the patio. And getting to the driveway by going around the garage would be a pain so I figure I'll take it right through it. The only probalem is there's a 1 foot concrete ledge at the rear garage door that I would have to get the bike up past. Any ideas on what I could use for a ramp or should I just ride it through the grass and around the house?

How long does it actually take to ride around your house? Sounds easy enough to ride around.

How well does a 650lb bike handle in wet grass?

That's what I figured. [&:] So aside from paving an actual ramp does anyone know what I could use?

A couple of 2 x 8's held together underneath by 2 cross members with a cinder block underneath them so it doesn't sag. Have to be long enogh so it doesn't pop up when you ride over.

Motorsickles + Wet Grass = Disaster.

Just curious buy why can't you just keep it in the garage?

Well I might be able to if I make enough space but it would be a tight fit since my parents park there.

Oh that's an easy fix. Just tell them that a HD always takes priority over all other vehicles and they will have to choose which one of them parks outside from now on
But if they won't go for that how about one of those metal ramps that are used for getting mowers or atv's in the back of a truck? I've never used one but they look pretty secure plus I've seen some that fold up so when you don't need it you could get it out of the way.

Ya that's the way I'm heading now. I'm just worried it might slide once I get the bike on it.
