Left my fathers car in reverse once when I was about 17. Caught up with it after it went over the edge of a small cliff and landed on the passenger side! :-)

Once in college, first date with a real hottie. Got out of my car and was walking to her door. she met me and shouted "You car is rolling down the Hill"! full blown sprint to catch up, reached through the window and guided it into someone's hedges. Not a very impressive start for me I did wind up scoring though, so the end was great!

had an old pickup once..that did not always engage park..I was at a Chevrolet dealership..left the truck running to look at new Z71's..as I was looking I heard a clicking noise..I turned around, and to my horror saw my pickup streaming toward a row of new z71's..lucky for me..my large **** was able to "catch" the truck and open the door to slam on the e brake before impact..
Learned my lesson with that truck...
Key off..e brake on.

I backed down a boat ramp at the end of a day of fishing.

I put the parking brake on in the truck and thought I had put it into park.

I went over, got in the boat and started to pull up onto the trailer.

Just before I hit the trailer I saw the truck was still in reverse, with just the brake holding it. Truck facing uphill, back end just out of the water.

Had to yell to a guy and ask him to put it in park for me. Of course there was a nice crowd at the time.

Even though I've launched and landed thousands of times I had to make the embarassed walk that day.

I haven't...but, back when I was in high school, we lived up on top of a hill with nuttin else 'round us 'cept the neighbor at the bottom. I get off the bus and start walkin up the hill, and there's my mom's car nose first in a clump of bushes out behind the neighbor's house. Ya shoulda seen the look of horror on my mom's face when I walked in the door, and just casually asked her why the car was in the muskadine clump at the bottom of the hill.
