Default Tire question (first bike)

I have a question and I thought I could get some help here. I own a 2003 Fatboy that came stock with 16" wheels. I purchased a new rear wheel which is 18". I am planning on shortly installing one on the front as well. Will it be a problem running a 150/70/18 tire on the rear? I have Avon venoms on there now and they seem to be holding up fine for me so that is what I went with again. What is the difference between bias and radial on a bike? Which do I want? I'm running a 150/80hb/16 on the back right now and I believe that is a bias tire. Please help if you can. Thanks.

Running a radial on the rear and a bias ply front is ok but not the other way around especially if you get into wet conditions. For real peace of mind run the same tires front and rear.
