I'm a Chevy guy, but a friend had a 914 back in 1976, and we used to cruise around in it alot. Man that thing could corner! Brought back memories. Good luck with it.

I like it! Good job. I'm totally into boards, it's surprising how just being able to move your feet around a few inches helps comfort.

Doghair, When where you in the Navy? I was in from 1981-1998 when I got hurt working a joint mission with DEA down south and was medically retired.

I've put several sets on customer bikes, they all have liked them. I was always a peg kinda guy but the boards are really comfortable!!

Boards are okay but I'll bet your front fender is scuffed from that bag hanging above it.

Too far for what?. They are inside the range of your engine guard. Even if they did stick out. If you lay it down, they do fold up so they should be okay

Has anyone put bords on where the mid controlls go my wife does not like forward ones I am wondering if the floorbords could go where the mids are?
