Suicide Clutch???

There is no play in the shifter at all, very tight unit. I spaced the shifter out away from the tank 5/8s of an inch.
Still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with the clutch grip yet. I will most likely end up grinding it off.

If you look at the picture of the Panehead in my sig line you will see a chrome device about 2/3s of the way down the front down tube. This is a mousetrap. It is a spring assist for your clutch, that is it relieves some of the force needed to engage the clutch on these old bikes. When I built the Panhead it only took one day of riding in city traffic to convince me I needed to find an old mousetrap and fit it into my build! They were a bear to get adjusted properly, but once set they were great on the fingers!
