"Won't last long" ... because, if it doesn't sell this week, I'm just going to torch it and collect the insurance money.

 

I have a friend whose OL wanted him sell his bike, so he listed it in the local paper. His asking price was about 5K more than MSRP on an 04 VTX. the bike was almost 3yrs old when he listed it. Needless to say, no one called.

 

Who are these people trying to kid? At work a co-worker asked me to look up kbb on his v-rod, he posted it at work saying it was listed at 2G more than kbb said, and asked new price, and of course the usual "must sell, cheap". Never sold it.

 

the market is flooded with used bike's. if you are not willing to take a loss then i dont think it will go any where.even on used bike market the extra's dont mean anymore than if you traded it.it might mean alot to you but that's about it sorry.

 

C'mon guys. It's a show bike. That's gotta be worth something. Think of all the prize money you could win with that thing.
