Today !!!
At a local bar 'The Joint' in Mpls they are having their pre-Sturgis party I will be there and I'll have my HDFORUM card on the windshield. It was graciously provided by another Forum member. Big thanx to Sifularson. It'll stay on the bike through Sturgis.
On another note. Today is my 15th anniversary as a Cancer survivor. 15 years ago I got a diagnosis (at age 42) of third stage Colon cancer. Surgery, radiation, and chemo followed. I have had a great support group of family, friends, etc. Their help & prayers were needed through some very dark days. My biggest thanx goes out to my wife. Today the sun shines on me! I've been VERY blessed.

Have fun at the party. Glad you made it through all those difficulties. My dad died of cancewr, a few years ago, so I know what you (and your family) were goping through. Respect to them, especially to your ol lady, for doing what she did. It's not common, anymore. Most couples prefer to go the easy way and split up, when times are getting tough. You feel blessed? You're damn right.

Today also Lance Armstrong finished 3rd place in the three-week Tour de France (whether or not he could have finished first if his team "leader" wasn't in the lead will be speculation for the sporting press for decades...).
His sole reason for coming out of retirement was to do more to get the message out for his Livestrong Foundation, to raise money for families fighting cancer and for more cancer research. It worked: he already attracted a new sponsor on the condition that they contribute to his foundation and sponsor Livestrong events that have nothing to do with cycling.
There are so many stories of victory over this disease, and most don't make the media, but they make memories and inspire others.
Enjoy your Tour de Minneapolis and celebrate your victory! I'm in Montana, otherwise I'd buy you a beer.
Congratulations!

Glad to hear about your remission from that deadly illness. Can you elaborate on the HD Forum Member Card. I've been here a while, and I never knew there was a card. That might the way to get everyone together at the Full Throttle in Sturgis... Interested.
A card, sounds like almost a rule or an organized get together, I'll pass, anarchist here. After the big C episode and judging by your bike I am sure you are enjoying life to the fullest, congrats and be careful man.
Congrats on Ur fight with cancer. Good to hear of the ones that kick its butt.

I live in MN also. St. Cloud Area. We are planning on heading for Sturgis after work on Friday. We are going to continue through Sturgis and head towards Montana to Glacier National Park.
I too am asking about the HD Forum Cards. What’s up with that?
My father has had cancer 5 times and is healthier than I am now, not to mention twice my age. It is an evil disease, but will moswt likely be a fact of life for me when I get a bit older. It is great to see others have survived. Stay strong and make the msot of every day.
