Hell, I’ve taken a liking to trailering my scoot: I have controlled climate, satellite radio & CD selection, ice chest within reach, excellent “wind free” conversations with the navigator, no sore ****/fatigue when arriving at the destination, big tool box and if I really want to luxuriate, I’ll lock the FLHRS down in the back of the RV Toy Hauler!
As for the trailering critics, I’m reminded of what Winston Churchill once quipped:
“It’s easy to criticize; and most fools do”.
Besides, I did all that two-wheel cross country travelin’ years ago and Momma’s only good for couple hundred miles nowadays.

Wow, I'm impressed with your toughness. "Sarcasm". And if you happened to live in Chicago and wanted to go to Daytona for bike week, I'm going to assume that you'd ride in the -20 degrees that it may be here when you leave as well?

Leaving from Las Cruces,NM. in the morning with the Misses. I know Ill get flamed for trailering ,but I only got a few days off of work and I can make it in one day this way. But any how Im going straight up I25 and I will keep a look out for anybody broke down. Also If your retired military or active duty they still have rooms at the Air force base as of 7 this morning for $39.00 per night.

WOuldn't it suck if it was like 80 degrees in the day, too hot to ride, and then dropped into the sixtys at night.
Just kidding... I rode to Sturgis from Buffalo in 05. It was a haul but I had a month and plenty of people to see along the way. In eastern ND it was 105 in the shade when I went through.
Just ride.
I ended up putting over 1000 miles on in the week that we were there. Just great, great riding up there.

I almost forgot. Drive something big like a yukon and cruise the town all day pulling out in front of bikes every chance you get. Have your brand new leathers on while you sitting in AC. You'll fit right in.

If I were going, and my wife said she would come with me if I trailered you can bet your sweet *** that bike would be strapped down. You see, She means so much more to me than the opinion of some meatball on this forum.

Rode there about 5 or 6 times. At first the trailers really bugged me. Especially the ones that pull over outside of Rapid City and kick dirt up on their bike. Yup, saw it done. But now, more power to ya. I don't have money for a trailer, let alone make it this year. Have fun and enjoy the Rez.
