Ok, I have another one....It must be me!!!!
I rode into Toronto to go to the Toronto Harley dealer to pick up a shirt for jd_underdog as a shirt swap. All is going well, we decide to ride back down by the lake (me and the other guy in my VENT post). We stop at around 12:30 at a little town to grab some food. Pull in the parking lot, park the bikes....then that is where the story gets going.
My bud stops first, gets off, I shut down and look up, and dude on the patio stands up quick and kicks his chair back and on the floor. I'm thinking, what the???? I see him lean over the rail and my bud says, hey how you doing??? The guy looks ready to go at him.....I think that is weird, what did he just say??? So when we get inside the restaurant I ask, what was his issue? My friend shrugs and says I don’t know....so that was it.
Another guy comes in from the patio and starts talking to the manager. I hear him say "I don’t think they saw it". I say what? So the guy says, when that guy stood up he pulled a knife on your buddy....I'm like what!!?!?!? I look out and the guy leaves the patio and Focks off.....
I mean, is it my luck or what the hell is going on in the world?
Maybe he did not like the pipes, maybe he doesn’t like bikers....maybe he was drunk, what ever it was, that guy was messed up!

RE: Ok, I have another one....It must be me!!!!
I've been riding Harleys for 30 years. I've had cans thrown at me from cars. I've been run off the road. I've been refused motel rooms and I've been flipped off numerous times. I've also had elderly couples walk up to me and ask where I'm from and where I'm going and then spend the next 30 minutes talking about how cool it would be to travel on a motorcycle. Who knows why people do the stupid things they do. I have found that people today do not have the same respect for others as we did when we were younger.

I guess I'm going to have to carry a gun when we go riding, if you are getting into this type of trouble in Port Credit.
(for all you out of towners, Port Credit is a real nice part of Toronto.)
