Default Andrews TW-37G cams

Anyone running these cams with a 95" kit? If so, how have they performed?

here just a couple reads on them.. seems like they like around 9.8 compression and are mid to high rpm torquers. Tq comes on later (3ooo)than some others..

I have them in an fuel injected 04 RK with a 95" and am very satisfied with them. Dyno'd at 80HP 87 ft-lbs w/the canned HD map that was loaded with the SE203 cams. Torque range is 68 ft-lbs at 1500 RPM'S and peaks at 87ft-lbs @ 4000 RPM's, good range IMHO and a blast to ride in town and passing at freeway speeds is a breeze, just roll on and you're at 90MPH in the blink of an eye. 70 HP takes over at 4000 RPM's and peaks at 5800.

Do you have 203's now? If so, you might want to consider going with the updated chain drive cam plate, as the tw37's specs are real similar to the 203's and you would save money and have a quieter drive train. From what I've read, the hydraulic chain tensioners are not as troublesome as the spring loaded variety.

Aren't the TW 37s gear driven, therefore eliminating the chain and the tensioner?

Yes, they are. I'm happy with the gear drive but if I had it to do over again I would've stuck with the chain driven 203's and had the updated cam plate installed. I was more interested in reliability than outright hot rod performance and, being satisfied with the performance of the 203's I could've gotten the reliability for a lot less money.
