I use my 'Lectraglides double disc fronts all the time, fortunately I'm too fat to fly over the handlebars.

GOOD TO GO !!!!

I KNOW, this thread is 'bout STOPPING, not going, BUT obviously, that is NOT the Cap'n's strong suit.

I do concur with your evaluations. I cannot believe the number of riders who say they DO NOT use the front brake. FEAR of crashing !!! WTF, Chuck ???? Can you spell Dore Nobbz ??????
Know one guy, who doesn't use his. Reason: the brake dust on the REAR wheel, is hard enough to clean off. Doesn't wanna **** up his wheel.
NOW that boy, NEEDS ta put his plow in the ground, folks.

BEST part??? WE SHARE the roads with 'em !!!!!!!
yep... thought it was doe nobbs though!!!! Hehe!!!

back then ya didn't do much stoppin like today Gumby... geeesh!! Now there is traffice everywhere!!!

I use my front brakes 100% of the time and maybe only use the rear brakes like 10% of the time. Too much of eaither brakes can make you wreck.

Just remove their rear brake lever for a day. They'll learn how to use the front one real quick. Oh, wait. That only works in the dirt. Nevermind.

Grass and gravel can be your front breaks worst nightmare.....

DO you speak from experience? Experience tells me no front on unstable surfaces.

I hate the ABS on my truck, why the hell would I want it on my bike?

Front brakes, yes, but how much and when depends on road surface, wet, gravel, etc. then it's judgement and experience.

Front brake is where all the adventure comes from! I just love grabbing a big old handful while I'm in a low speed turn into the parking place in front of the dealership. Now that's the good stuff!

When I bought my Ultra from a neighbor, it had 3000 miles on it and the rear brake pads were thin as a sheet of paper. Front brake pads looked like they had never touched the rotors. Since then, I have changed the fronts twice and the rears have not been replaced since the day after I got the bike. I guess I use more front than rear.
