Default What a stud!

Has anyone ever attempted to remove studs from a seat before? I was just wondering if it would leave a mark or damage the seat.

Let me know if you've done this... one way or the other!

Thanks

What is he doing in your seag? If he is bigger than you might want to leave him alone

When you say studs you're being plural. With more than one, use a gun. Might leave a mark though.

We are familiar with studs or also called spots..They are secured with 2 little wings or tabs that are bent over to secure the spot in place,so if you do remove them you will be left with holes or slits..hope this helps,if you are looking for a change they are available in many different colors and sizes. If you wish you can contact my wife she works with all of the custom stuff and is up to speed as to what is available..

They're a bit of a pain to remove, but don't leave too big a mark..I took them off the seat of my '92, cut some "slits",interlaced a strip of black rawhide, then poked some brass carpet tacks through the strip and seat flap. Came out ok, I think..

Thanks cap. Had me wondering what with the 2 studs.......
Could just put more slits in there and make it look like fringe hanging....
