Mom and Pop shops have always stood out from the rest.

Gatto is pretty cool if you're near that area. Really old shop with lots of personality. They have a diner there too. Used to spend my summers there.

Truely a shame but that is the situation with many multi generational business's. That would have been a cool t shirt to own.

I will say I am tired of the corporate type owners that have bought the dealerships because they where such cash cows(investments). I personally like doing business with dealers that have been with the name plate for many years rather than the ones that "Used to ride dirt bikes but always loved Harley"

Default Babe Ceini

Shovelhead Bob,

I wrote a tribute to Babe Cerini when he passed. It was only printed in the Donora HOG newsletter. Let me know if you wild like to read it.

I was in the area in 1992 broke a kink on my Sportster, got a ride to Donora from Library PA to Cerini's. Had the exact part and bought a couple of t-shirts one I still have, can you believe that. Got a ride back to the gas station fixed it on the road again. One fine gentleman helped me out that day, never got his name though. Think I'll keep the t-shirt, might even take a pic and post it up.
