Thought I'd pop in here for my 1st post. I have been a HD fan since I was 13 yrs old when I would beg my parents to stop by every HD shop we passed. I rode from the time I was 14 (street legal in Ok) until I was 23 and have not been on a bike since then due to young kids and starting a family. However, my wife and I have most of our bills paid and I am planning on making my next motorcycle purchase in Dec or Jan this year.
I am a 29 y.o. medical student going to school in Tennessee. I have a wife of almost 10 yrs and 3 children ages 9, 5, and 3. And that's about it...I'm on here to learn and hopefully run into some decent people.
There are lots of great people on this forum and in the motorcycle community as a whole. I started riding 42 years ago but had a long dry spell, the reason was marriage, new family, kids in school, etc. Somethings take precedent over the desire. There is a risk to motorcycles and unfortunately it is greater today than it was 40 something years ago. That said I do wish I had continued to ride even when other things were more important.
Welcome to the forum from sunny Southern California. Glad to have you here. Congrats on the family and on your choice to continue your education. Post some pictures when you finally buy your motorcycle. Take care!
