will look much better when i get my rimz powder coated the same color red as the spike.

Careful mounting that bike. Looks sick for sure. When the wheels are done it will be insane.

 

i have been told that if you get in a crash it can impale you. wich is why on there web site they only show them pointing foward but the guy with there company said most people put them on how i did. i could not belevie that the tip i actualy sharp. god i cant wait to get my rimz done.

 

one of this big issues i want it to look cool but not over done. there are a few things i want to get powder coated. but as my wife and frinds have warned me sometimes everyting looks good till it looks like ****. like i was thinking about getting the rimz done in red. the i thought maby the headlight shroud. (wich i think would look sick)
now here is the one that i think could go ether way. the sissy bar???? i wonder if that would look good red????? i just dont know. if the rimz and the intake and headlamp are red. that might be just right. the sissy bar might be to much.

Your friends are right... The tricky part though, is finding that balance, which can be hit and miss.

I'm with them, i think anything can be overdone, whether its chrome, black, whatever.... at some point it goes over that "edge" and goes from bad *** to WTF is he thinking?

I love red rims on a dark bike though... that'll look sweet.

 

that is why i am doing it one step at a time. i have all winter to get it done. i relly dont think i will do the back rest. but the red rimz and head lamp will look good.
