What Harley got you interested in the Marque?
And made you head out, put your hard earned cash down and buy one???
This is the bike that made me venture to the dealer back in 1985, the first edition Softail, I loved that bike, still do.
Couldn't afford it, so got an 1985 FXEFB Super Glide Fat Bob instead......still hankering after a mint '85 FXST in Vivid Black.

The one that got me hooked was my first one...A 64 Duo-Glide that I bought in 69 and hung onto until I bought the 84. Sometimes wish I'd kept it as well.
Pic of the Duo-Glide below. Damn I was a good lookin kid. Don't know WTF happened.

Easy Rider is probably the earliest memory I have of taking an interest in the brand. The first specific bike I can recall seeing and then knowing I'd have a Harley one day was an early model Fatboy parked out in front of a restaurant. It looked wider than it was tall and it looked exactly like a motorcycle should. That was back in the 90s. Last year I finally broke down and decided I was ready to trade up. I went shopping for a Sportster and ended up with my FXD.
Will likely never own a Fatboy, but that was the bike that convinced me I'd have a Harley someday.

You couldn't give me a Harley until I saw the 1977 AMF/Harley 1000cc XLCR Cafe Racer. I just HAD to have that bike and I bought one the minute I found one and I will NEVER sell it. I only saw the movie “Black Rain” after I had already bought my XLCR and I was with my girlfriend at the time in the theater and she said out loud “Hey, that kind of looks like your bike doesn’t it?” and before I could say anything, some guy who was sitting near to us said “You lucky bastard!” I didn’t know if he meant I was lucky because I had a XLCR or because my girlfriend was smokin’ HOT!
