Toys are the things you hang off the bike. The bike itself is a toy, if it serves any purpose beyond transportation. As an example, a jeep can be primary form of transportation, in the country or up north, maybe the best choice. However, when you start lifting it and putting wheels and chrome all over it to make it look pretty, those parts make it a toy.
I am not faulting the guy for owning a Harley, just saying he should not put a lot of accessories on a credit card. I sincerely hope he is not putting a bike on a card.

He was just throwing out the info... give him a break... Not all of us are getting a retirement check every month... lol Hell i run a shop on base right next to the main exchange and i don't even take the star card? I don't think Drak ment max it out on parts but maybe a nice xmas present for yourself wouldn't be bad.

I have a Star card and don't see what the problem is with it. A flat 10% interest with no yearly fee. That is a better interest rate than most people can get on any type of charge card. Of coarse you have the idiots that understand how to charge purchases but have not gotten the part down where you have to pay it back! They are always the same people that swear against credit cards.......cause' they can't get one.

Been to their website and they are only giving military 10% off retail. When you factor in the 12% interest you're paying on interest using the star card, there's no advantage. There are other dealerships out there offering as much as 20% off for vets if you search around.
win-win-win.....
