What events are you planning on attending this next year?

Me, so far.....

Jan. 30-31, Denver motorcycle swap meet (CHECK) Got some 1984 Pabst HD beer. 14 cans for 5 bucks. All full too. Saw a whole bunch of different 1% MC members. They seemed like they were having fun. So was I.

May 14, Douglas, WY. Law Enforcement Memorial ride. (CHECK) 260 miles there and back. Hit a bird (my first) just north of Chugwater, WY. it was a good time.

May 16, Cheyenne, WY. Stride Ride. (un-check) Went to a shooting competition this morning and it took WAY longer than it was supposed to.

Jun. 26-28, Glenrock, WY. "Summer HOG festival".(Not Check - the website I got the information from got the dates wrong. It was the 25th and 26th. I missed it)

Aug. 6-8, Sturgis

Sept. 3-5, Thunder in the Rockies, Loveland, CO.

Various local type HD runs, "Hogs for Dogs", charity type stuff.

Any other stuff that I can get to during the decent weather.

 

not going too any events but wife and i will be spending 8 days up at lake placid NY. in july. lots of good riding up there.

 

Better check the calender, cuz I think Sturgis ain't gonna start til after you leave this year.

Myself, I can't commit to anything that far in advance. I'm more of a spur-of-the-moment kind of guy. I'd like to do Sturgis again this year, but won't know til July if I can pull it off.

 

buncha rides around northeast: NY, VT, NH, ME and Martitimes. Cape Breton in September. Bunch more in West Quebec, Eastern Ontario. Good chance of going over Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway, like past three years, from Front Royal to Atlanta, at least once. Maybe Daytona again.

 

I hope to ride out to the Golden Aspen Rally in Ruiodoso N.M. in Sept. Haven't been out there in a few years. Would be nice to return.

 

Hawgs of Texas rally in April. Republic of Texas rally in June. Stugis maybe. Galveston in October. Trip to Big Bend if I have the time.

I do all the local rally's and charity stuff. But I can't plan more than a few day's ahead of time...So..Whatever comes up?? I'm there........

 

Yeah, I know.... I can't get the week of Sturgis off because of my job, (which I DO have JW.) so we are going to weekend before. All the vendors will be set up and ready to go by Friday, so I figure Sat. and Sun. would be good to do. Plus, the anniversary of the purchase of my bike (Aug. 8) will be spend in Sturgis. Whooo Hoooo.

Sturgis, Laughlin River Run, Sturgis on the River, J&P open house and a 3K run to Key West and up through the Blue Ridge Skyway and the Cherokowa (sp) Skyway.
