Default anyway to lock seat?

I bought a hd touring seat for my 03 softail with the backrest and got to thinking it would only take a second for someone to take it off and run with it. Is there anyway to lock or secure the seat to prevent theft?

Haven't found a locking solution yet but in the meantime I use a thin nut under the spinoff nuts. Least it will prevent grab and runs. Still looking for a way to lock the backrest in.

I checked out the website ... the locks seem expensive to protect an average saddle.

It looks like they are more for a custom made seat.

cheers

Install your seat with a tamperproof screw.

A lock thats made for gun safety might work it`s just a thin cable that plugs into a small lock

what kind of places do you go to that you need to worry about someone stealing something off your ride? Most places I go to, the last thing I have to worry about is someone messing with my ride.
