I once read a post in here where the OP said that difference between a Harley and other bikes was that the Harley had "Soul". If that bike could talk I bet you could make a movie from it.. Good luck and have fun with the restoration --send pics as you progress...

Yes vin check, title everything says FLHS.

Got the bags off and tour pak already at my buddys house to be sanded and primered. Next to figure out the rear fender removal. The box of **** I got sitting here is amazing, nuts bolts, hardware, those junk latches...

well, since you already have it apart, I'd leave the tour pack off of it.

Better still if you can scuff it with fine wetsandpaper( I would go 1200 grit to polish) but just get it recleared

If it were mine, I'd paint just the tank, and ride her. (I'm not into nature scenes on my bike, for those who are, no offense)

You could spend 3K on that scoot and have a super sweet finished ride for an extremely reasonable final price.

Can't wait to see her all doll'd up.

I have a use for the tour pak. But may make it easier to remove than what it is now.

not bad. maybe make the sidecover stripe a little thinner and make the whole stripe follow the line of the front of the cover
