Been watching for a 'cheap' ride, for a buds, who has an old Ironhead, that's runnin' him.
Riding buddy calls yesterday,
"Still looking for a ride for him?"
"What ya got?"
" '92 Kenny Boyce FX Custom, 103" Delkron 4spd. Less than 2500 on new top end. Not sure 'bout the rest, runs and rides GREAT, $3500."
"HUH ???? WTF's wrong with it."
"Trying to pay his house."

Well, buds can't come up with the coin. So guess what. I decide to take a stab at it. Two phone calls later.....................

Turns out, I knew this kid's Dad. He died, and left the scoot to the kid. Kid has a big azz hot rod chopper. THIS is his Dad's ol' scoot. I've known the scoot for some time. And the guy who did the wrenching is the former Nat'l Pres of an MC, been building scoots for 30+ years, parts man at an HD dealer, and good buds of our's. I saw this scoot, when it was in his shop.

Super Trapp tuneable exhaust. 180 'tar'. PM brakes all 'round. When the Ol' Man rode this thing, it "Rocked".

Came with a 'plastic' back fender, it cracked all to H*LL, so it's been replaced with metal, but is primer black.
Other than that, the paint job SUX, IMFUO.

Wasn't really 'looking', and IF I were, it would have been for Road King, Big incher, if possible. NOT an FX
But for the price of a Sportster........................

BUT I AINT GOTS to paint, THIS one.
My oldest kid lives in SoDak, and helps a neighbor, in his street rod shop. And the kid is learning..........PAINTING !!!
Momma works at a body shop, where they do ..........................PAINTING.
My youngest is a graphix artist, and does some air brush....................PAINTING.

IOW, the Ol' Geez, betta NOT have to be breathing fumes, on this one.
