So, I think they had black.... a few black and silver......(<<sarcasm) a couple Gun Metal... gun stock blue... whatever its called..I have seen white and then the factory custom paint shop colors...

Red is the rarest of the colors. I worked at a HD dealership in 03 and they had 3 diff models in red. It's a color you never see. The white is pretty rare as well. Most are Black, Blue, and the 2 tone silver

 

The 2003 catalog shows:
Two tone Sterling Silver and Vivid Black
Gunmetal Pearl
Vivid Black
Luxury Rich Red Pearl
Luxury Blue Pearl
White Pearl
Anodized Aluminum
Racing Orange

 

The orange was only on the XR883 only I believe

 

That is probably right. The back of the catalog shows only the anniversary colors without regard to the model.

BTW, schumacher, I see you are from Springfield OH. I bought my bike from Mark P at Mid- Ohio. Roger K in parts and the guys in service always did me good.
