Is there anyway I can touch up a small whack on my RK Standard hard bags? I backed my scoot into my bro-in-laws table saw that WE put right behind my scoot. The saw is only painted in that hard to see DeWalt Yellow!!!!

A trick I was taught a long time ago by a body shop painter was to use a toothpick with the touch up paint. After you chemically clean the spot, use the tooth pick to put touch up paint in the middle of the chip but be sue NOT to overlap the sides and get paint on the original paint. Take the touch up right to the edge of the chip but not over the edge. Let the first attempt dry well. Do another dab as necessary and when well cured, buff out. I only used that technque on jet black but it worked well.

I worded it poorly at first...There is a small divit out of the corner of the bag.....what might be good to use to fill this small void? I'm talking maybe 3/8" by 1/4"...kinda like half a dime and maybe less than 1/8" deep. I promise I won't ask anyone to do it for me...I just suck at body work.

 

OK, I tried the number for black pearl in Harley's web site and Chicage HD . Didnt return any results. I also need some black pearl touch up paint

 

I'll have to wait til Tuesday and will check here in KC. I only need a touch...if I can get it I'll let ya know and send it your way.
