my yellow bike has an evo motor and has the enclosed belt drive primary... and the inspection cover is vented .. like others said , pull the smaller cover and stick your finger in and feel (chain or belt)---chain is oily and belt is dry
or get someone who knows to tell you..by checkn

Have you ever worked on your bike outside in 3 inches of snow when it is 15 degrees outside and dropped a nut or screw on the ground, sometimes you cant find them until the snow melts. I have other things on this bike to do while it is cold. Like get the fairing and bags, trunk body stuff done. That I can do inside where it is warm.
in my living room there is a headlight,bucket,box of ultra trunk parts, a fairing, saddl bag rails, a fender and misc body parts....I need to finish this **** first and get it out of here before worrying about changing fluids.
