oil in the tank, and trans, wtf is the third. Maybe my 87 dont have the third?

 

Try your primary.

 

C'mon, man. Maybe you ought to just take it to the dealer for fluid service. Get a manual if you are gonna do it yourself.

 

I was told by someone at work that it is a belt primary....I dunno, never looked. I only have owned the bike for 2 weeks. I have not had time to do any fluid swaps. Its been like 25 degrees, and crappy out. I never looked inside the primary yet. When did they quit doing belt primaries stock? I have been more occupied with redoing the body parts lately.

 

If you are running a belt in the primary then pull a inspection cover and look. Quickest way I know to tell.

its enclosed, just like my other bikes were. And they were chain primary.

 

Its cable controlled, just like my others, I never looked inside this particular bike yet....its flipping cold out there

 

Well, if you don't need oil for the primary, you can always use the extra for a sexual performance aid.
