Question about Kevlar gear
Does anyone own of have experience with MotoPort's Kevlar jackts, gloves and pants? www.motoport.com They seem to make some pretty big claims about the protection and breathability of Kevlar and their gear. http://www.motoport.com/save-your-hide

Not with that company exactly, but unless you're planning on taking a bullet, ballistic nylon is half the price and takes a lot of abuse. It breathes, hell, you could blow a candle out through it.
November 29th, 7:30 pm, 65 mph on a left curve with a guardrail...
My headlight cuts out. I figure that going down is better than going over that guardrail (they wouldn't have found me until April) so I laid her down for the first time in my life (intentionally). 50 yards of asphalt, 10 yards of gravel, and a short ride along the guardrail later...The ballistic nylon jacket didn't have a mark on it. The left side of my levis was shot along with my left glove, but the jacket was fine.
