The IMC headset and portable CB for my wife set me back about $150. I believe that Midland has come out with their own headset which would be a little cheaper. I did find this http://www.jcwhitney.com/jcwhitney/t...questid=747110
So about $130 for each bike, its probably a little smaller and lighter than the CB.

For rider passenger intercom there are cheap units available. I have no experience with these.

Default iMC Motorcom Harley Davidson Communication Headsets

Here is a link to Harley Specific headsets: http://www.imcmoto.com/products/harley-headsets.html

If you don't have an ultra and want to communicate via cb: http://www.imcmoto.com/products/devi...-headsets.html just make sure you select the correct connector, these headsets also require you to provide your own radio/cb

If you have any questions feel free to call us (800)560-0613 if you order online use coupon code "hdforums" or mention you are a member over the phone for a discount.

Well, we want it so we can communicate. Be alot easier instead of me tapping his leg and giving a hand movement for when I need to pee or want to stop for a smoke lol.

I will pass this info. onto the ol' man so he can look into this.

Thanks again

I wish I had half his luck... I've been trying to get my wife to "tap my leg and give a hand movement" for years..... Sorry-- couldn't help myself....

for iPhone your best bet is http://www.imcmoto.com/products/devi...-headsets.html: it comes with a handle bar mount control button to advance and rewind tracks and voice control if you phone supports it. No batteries to deal with and your phone will last longer since its bluetooth isn't on.

If you want to go bluetooth we those headsets can be found here: http://www.imcmoto.com/bluetooth.html, they all mount on the outside of the helmet so it may not be what you are looking for.

For a simple wired stereo music headset you can use this: http://www.imcmoto.com/products/devi...headset-2.html - no microphone or control button, just speakers and a 3.5mm connector

We do have a new bluetooth headset that has a module that will drop into your jacket or shirt pocket, you can check here for updates on new products: http://www.imcmoto.com/news/index.php

sorry if this is a lot of info, hope that it helps.

depending on how much you plan on connecting, it may be worth checking out these wired systems: http://www.imcmoto.com/products/wired-systems.html

the mit100 installs on your bike and you get all the audio functions of an ultra, you just have to provide your own cb or 2-way radio.

My dumbass needs your help on this one as the link just brings me to Whitney's home page. Do you have a model/pruduct number I can type in?

This sounds like the thread I've been looking for. I've been wanting some feedback on the half helmet sets from IMC. Not everyone is going to be happy with every aspect of anything but it looks like the majority rules at this point.
