For the side covers on my 87 EG, the ones for the mounting screw. The old ones looked really bad and I dont wanna re use them after I painted the damn thing. I dont see them on ebay anywhere.

Are they not available from HD? If they are obsolete they can do a search for you. If you need the part number I will be back in the shop this weekend and I can email you the part number. Good luck!!

Naw I can call the local Pig Pen dealer and ask them. I am pretty sure they are going to tell me they are obsolete....everything else rubber has been so far. I appreciate your offer.

I will check this weekend on them. I painted my 87 bagger a few years ago and replaced all the rubber stuff I could. I can't remember if I replaced them or not. Later on down the road!!

If they are well nuts like hold FXR side covers on, then check your local ACE hardware. Take one with you to match it up as they come in several diameters and lenghths. Bought some for my FXR at 1/3 of what HD charges.

Like Buddy said, Ace and some other hardware stores have a nut and bolt aisle, with drawers full of all kinds of individual stuff. One of those drawers has various sizes of rubber/neoprene grommets. That's where I got mine when I re-painted my bike.
