Have a red Sears Craftsman jack Third time I used it bottle jack blew seal. Bike dropped to safety stop. Took it back and was given new one . That was three years ago,no trouble since. Am I going to buy the best on the market,no but I do think of it every time I lift the bike.Call me crazy.I do hold handle bar as I jack it now.

That's a HEFTY lift -- capacity 3000-lbs! Bit of overkill for my bikes.

Got several buddys with the Yellow Sears jacks and they swear by them

And if you don't like the one at Harbor freight for 300.00 that's air /Hydraulic

Then this is the best lift table I've seen.

My buddy has one and I want it.

Lift blocks...heh, the HF jack will only go under the Heritage if you hold the bike up straight, and you have to slightly push it in a bit at that! Hopefully, the new Pirelli Night Dragon will give the bike the height it needs to make it easy.

Had the Sears lift for a few years, its ok.

Picked this one up from HF

Will give it a try, but if not strong enough for the HD have a couple of ATV I will use it for. Like how it really lifts high that way my back will take less of a beating.

I have the Sears version. I remember them saying some lifts (craftsman) were failing because of weak bolts at the pivot points. I use mine rarely when I have a bike up on my HandyLift and need to get another bike off the ground for something.

They are pretty basic in design. You can get away with cheap Tiawan **** if it's made from stamped steel like these HF lifts are. It's the Tiawan stuff made from their cast steel that I wouldn't touch. That stuff just shatters to pieces under pressure.

just as an fyi, most of the standard jacks, sears, HF here in canada we have canadian tire, they are all made by the same 3 suppliers in china and you can buy them in different colors and they will put your name on it for a minimum order of 200 pieces, so most of the time the basic jacks are all the same, or course there are more expensive models but for the most part the base model ones are all the same.

Yeah, the sears and HF jack are the same one. At least it will pick up the bike and rotate or move it around, which I use it for more than anything.
