i have a 98 i just rebuilt the engine on, now i'm seriously considering getting me a 2010 model because this is how it ends...
greed killed HD, selling garbage clothing so dealers were burried in inventory they couldn't move, giving motorcycle loans to people who never should've gotten them and now can't repay.
too bad... i may witness my two favorite things budweiser and harley die within years of one another.

corporate greed is what caused the economy to be in the state it's in, handing out unsound loans a major factor of which HD is definitely guilty of.

KKR is just the same kind of company that bought out the corp i work for presently. Basically they do the buy out, go into that company and reorganize it top down, try to get it turning an even higher profit..then they sell it off to increase there profits agian...in all its a short term investment for KKR if they are actually doing this. But, when they sell it off they can and probably will sell it off in peices because to make it profitable they will have to break it all up.
