Just swish a bit of rubbing alcohol inside, it will clean off the haze. Make sure to let it evaporate before you put the lamps back in and use the lights. Works everytime on my Ducati. putting anything else in there will leave residue/lint or possible damage the reflectors.

I have an 06 Roadking and they seem fine to me. Sounds like its kind of annoying and a bitch to clean if they do get fogged up

I have a '07 Road King. I took the light apart per the Shop Manual directions to disassemble the light and replace the bulb.
After removing the the bulb I put a few drops (3-4) of isopropyl rubbing alcohol inside the lens. Swished it around a few seconds, then used my compressor to blow most of the alcohol out. It worked GREAT!

Yeah, I've noticed that in looking at the lights. I don't see any reduction in projected light though. I don't ride much at night anyway, eyes are not that good. I really can make better use of time that worrying about this problem, but then, that's me.

Agree denatured alcohol is great for glass and leaves no residue. Just curious is that Willow Springs on your avatar.

Okay, I put up with wtih cloudy lenses for almost two years after listening to everyone saying it was normal and doesn't effect output. Probably true, but it looks terrible and shame on HD for not engineering something better. I pulled the lenses, popped the bulbs out, sprayed enough Windex to swirl, rinsed with water, and dried with the air hose. Took all of 20 minutes and was more satisfying than most things I've done on the bike. You don't have to live with clouded head/passing lights.

Mine are also a little cloudy, but it doesn't seem to be affected the amount of light they emit.

I am going to try to disassemble mine and clean them up this weekend. We will see how it goes.
