Default Damn CAGER!!

Friday afternoon I take off for a little ride and 2 miles from the house it happens. Guy made a left turn in front of me (I was turning left on to a major highway and in a full left turn lean). I was able to avoid a broadside but not a major sideswipe. Bike flopped a couple of times and then slid about 70 feet. I had god with me because my head never hit the ground but I crushed my tibia plateau and will be in this halo device for 12 to 14 weeks!

Sounds like things could have turned out much worse. Best of luck healing and by the time you are able to ride again your bike should hopefully be good as new.

Very sorry to hear that....Hope you recover soon. I wish they'd change the law stating when something like this happens you're allowed to wack the S.O.B with a baseball bat across the skull....only way people are going to learn

It's simply amazing how we seem to be invisible sometimes....even on an 8ft long, red, 800lb chunk of steel & plastic!! As others have said, you were very lucky and you should count your blessings.......bones & scrapes will heal and the bike can be fixed/replaced. But most importantly, you will be here to enjoy both. Heal fast my friend!

My son who is 6'1" and 325 drove up on the accident and I thought he might take things into his own hands but he did manage to keep himself together.

Wow, glad you weren't hurt any worse then you were, I get so sick of cagers pulling out in front of me like they think I have all the time in the world to stop! I had an old man do it the other day,I honked at him, he seen me, waved and freaking smiled, I felt like following him and kicking his azzzz
