Default Want to Rent Enclosed Trailer

I have been looking around trying to rent an enclosed two bike trailer to take to the Outer banks from June 18th to the 29th. If anyone know anyplace that rents trailers, or is interested in renting theirs, please let me know.

I've beem looking off and on for over a year looking to rent a trailer to haul a couple of bikes from Philly to Maine. No luck so far. There just don't seem to be many places that rent enclosed trailers. Let me know if you do. U Hauls won't rent to me with my Sport Trac even though its factory set up with the heavy duty twing package. I think it is good for 7,000 lbs. I think that goes back to the old Explorer roll over problems.

I placed an ad on Craigslist and had 5 responses the first day. Ended up buying my own due to trip canceling due to work.
Give it a shot!
Good luck

I have used U-hauls. They have absolutely no where to tie the bikes down. They are assembled with sex bolts, that when removed leave exactly enough room for a 3/8 eyebolts. Hmmm E track screws nicely to the floor...even returned them with the eyebolts still installed.

If you can tie up the cash for a bit, buy one, use it and turn around and sell it. They hold their resale really well. I did this when I moved from jersey, plus wrote off the cost of the trailer on taxes as a moving expense, couldn't go wrong.

Too bad you aren't a little further south, I'd have no problem renting mine to you. It'll hold 2 full dressers, has wheel chocks and 6 Dead Man anchors in the floor. I turns into a great camping trailer if you add a couple of old Army cots too!

I've seen alot (a few) places around here that rent them. Check the big trailer dealers around you. Golden Gait trailers rents em. Ask around at your local bike shop. good luck

02 Dyna, family owned a horse farm, used to pull a 4 horse fifth wheel trailer with a GMC dually from central jersey to area race tracks.
