Default Saw this in the Fathers Day car show.

I went at the Father's Day car show in Qualicum Beach.

I saw this truck in the car show. It is the original shop truck or Brooklands Motorcycle Sales that used to be in Victoria BC. I worked at that shop for a short time in about 1970 when I was 15, and hadn't seen the truck since.

I turns out that the truck now belongs to a guy that I went to school with, and he now works at Steve Drane Harley Davidson. He has spent quite a bit of money retoring it to original condition.

Nice "Effie". Enjoy going to car shows when there's not a bike event going on.

Default f-100

That really is a pretty one.

Decades ago I had a '55 F-100 w/ a 351ci Cleveland, tilt-wheel and power steering and even the 6-way power seat from a Lincoln. Can't imagine what I was thinking when I sold it!

Default Power

It's got the original flathead V8 in it, but I believe he hopped it up a bit with pistons, cam etc.

Sweet old F100, very cool to see it's still running the original flathead.

Living here in AZ there are so many sitting around waiting for restore. Time and $$ is all I lack currently. I had a 58 Ford panel I rebuilt the original Y-block 8 when young. Wish I had just stored it away for later.

My favorites are the back-to-original or close to anyway.
