I can't narrow it down to just one thing in each category:

Best: Simple enough that I can do much of the work myself. There are few vehicles I can do that with anymore. Most of all, the way it makes me feel when I ride it, or even see it sitting in the garage.

Worst: Noone around here works on them, so I HAVE to do most of the work myself. Parts cost a fortune.

 

Hot, its frickin hot!! Temp wise.

Worst: Not riding it.

Best: Riding it.

 

Worst: it is not as fast as a foreign bike.
Best: it is louder than a foreign bike.

 

Best: It's a Harley. I still get a thrill every time I climb on. I just couldn't feel like that on any other bike.
Worst: To quiet. It's still stock. The one piece of the whole Harley experience I'm missing.

 

Worst: It took me a long time to get mine,
Best: I have it now

Sorry I know if is a cop-out but I knew what I wanted and I got it.

Worst? Trying to find time to ride my Harley. I took care of that quiet problem before I even got her home.

 

Best = The drunk driver who hit me paid for it.

Worst = The nine months of physical therapy before I could walk/ride again.

 

Your worst trait (Air Cooled) is most likely why you and so many other agree with your best trait.

There is no "Harley Magic" about a V-Rod. There won't be any "Harley Magic" about a water cooled Electra Glide either.

That doesn't mean I don't like V-Rods. It means I like air cooled push rod engines in a classic frame.
