Full face. My shoei has vent to open to keep it from fogging up and if that isn't enough you can adjust face shield lever to allow more air in without rain getting in.

Dunno guess I don't like the thought of my jaw moving to the back of my head.

This is the best helmet made for riding in the rain.

Full face for me . . . them rain drop hurt at any sort of speed. Also the other vehicles tend to throw up a lot of S*** when the road is wet that I'd rather not eat . . . such as Sushi Squirrel, Rare Rabbit and Possum Tartar to name just a few . . .

Been in the same boat as you with a 1/2 helmet and Wiley's fogging. Was looking at the Evo Shark modular, but it didn't fit my head shape right. Ended up with a FF Arai Vector helmet - spendy, but we got hailed on coming back this weekend from SW Colorado through the mountains and it performed flawlessly. No fogging, no hail hitting the face, no thoughts of do I just pull ver and wait this out - just kept on riding and enjoying the tunes.

Full face all the time.

Some of the time it's really hot, though....

I got some guard dogs with their foam inserts (only when it rains) and never really had an issue with them fogging up. If im moving they're clear as day if I stop I can always pull them down a little and they stay clear. I dont think they use a special coating or anything. Rain sucks on my half helmet but I dont mind it after a while.

I hadn't ridden with the 3/4 for a few years, until last week, I grabbed it for a quick trip downtown. I had forgotten how much the shield whipped my head around in the wind!
I had to read some other guy brag how much better his ff was, so you have to read how my 3/4 shield has never whipped my head around. The better styles close tight and go down farther. Didn't like windshield buffeting, lower mileage, or blocking too much. I had to give up on ff. Though it would of course be safer in some types of potential accidents, I found it more dangerous for me to be safe riding. 3/4 works year round for me, except going down the street.

I have a 3/4 with a face shield and rain doesn't get to my face. No FF or windshield for me.

Take the helmet off when u are out of the weather if u want, but those things belong in a little kid's toybox or hanging off of my welder.
Hey Darlin`, I`ll come to your room anytime!

My go to helmet for trips with possible bad weather is the Shark Evoline modular. Most of the time I run in 3/4 mode, but a quick flip puts the chin bar down for a protected ride.

If it does not fit your head, you can push in on the foam lining until it feels comfy. Pushing in on the back of the helmet relieves pressure on the front. Easy to customize it for fit.

It has a built in breath shield, an air vent, and you can additionally crack the visor just a tad to keep everything clear if fog is an issue. Great helmet.
