It ain't the accessories;it's the taxes & BS dealer fees.

Kinda like when you buy a razor: they almost give them away because they know you've gotta buy the blades.

Or cheap printers: I just bought one for $50. Found out the ink cartridges are $26.

I've found even with shipping, http://www.chicagoharley.com/shop/
saves me money because of less than retail prices and no sales tax.
I can't imagine what I'd have in my bike if I had the dealer install the parts instead of doing it myself.

geeze looks like I made out like a bandit!

1500CAD for the bike and some time behind the welding machine to fix misc parts my old man has kept around.

Glad I never stepped foot in a harley dealership.

yeah it got a complete rebuild when i first bought it, couple months later blew up the rear cylinder int olittle tiny pieces so it got a top end, new tins, new paint new pipes, some chrome, then it blew a head gasket and burnt to a crisp at the local indy's shop during a shop fire so got a complete ground up rebuild yet again but replaced A WHOLE LOT MORE parts due to fire damage

The bike is cheaper than the boat.
