The company figured out that's where the money is and they were right. I have over 2K in accessories now and I figure another 5.5K to go. That will put my FXD total cost at around 20K. What the heck, I paid for 7 college degrees and I couldn't afford them either hahaha.

Only $2K? That's just a start. My wife "thinks" I only spent that much.

Well, you can buy rice burner and look like everyone else, or buy a harley and make it personnal. Do you want to look like everybody else, or, be your own person?

Dennis you are the perfect example as to way you can't make a part, import it to the USA, sell it to six different brokers, and then export it to Canada, sell it to five brokers there and expect the cost to remain cheap. Too many hands in the kitty.

Really?? I bought a baseball cap at the dealer and have since bought a few T-shirts. Other than that, there are much better places to get parts, accessories and riding gear and you get better stuff for less.

I can get real USA made leather cheaper than the HD Chinese stuff any day of the week. The jacket in my avatar pic is a Schott Perfecto (as worn by Marlon brando, the Ramones, maybe James Dean, and others since 1913). Cost me about $250, brand new, with a nice Schott hanger - one 1/3 as thick from HD would be chinese and $500.

Totally off topic but I have to agree. Nice way to wake up in the morning.
