If I have to wear a seat belt, you should have to wear a helmet
This is the number one remark you will hear when dealing with the Legislators. Helmets and Seatbelts are not related to each other; such
people are avoiding the topic at hand. One of the best comebacks is that they should wear a helmet in their car. Stress the fact that
there are more head injuries in cars than on motorcycles. Some will give the all time response that it limits their vision. The simple
reply to that is "Do you think that it is different on a motorcycle. The answer is NO. What blocks your vision, will block your vision no
matter what mode of transportation that you use.".
Truths about Helmet Laws
1. Statistics prove that a state-funded Rider's Ed program prevents more accidents and saves more lives than a mandatory helmet law.
2. Fatalities as a % of accidents stayed the same after California introduced their helmet law. The accident rate however dropped
sharlpy after they introduced their Rider's Ed program (which was 4 years before the helmet law).
3. Since the average accident rate and the fatality rate lower in states withOUT helmet laws, not being forced to wear a helmet
is not a social burden.

So if this Blah is correct you can only get in trouble for putting a fake DOT sticker on the fake lid. I always wear my FF Mod but it's because I chose too. I hate having the Zars telling what I can or can't do.
