I have owned 2 Harleys...neither have ever broken down...my dealer is a really nice guy who has 2 stores...gave me a good sale price...free 1000 mile service and his employees are always friendly and there is always a pot of coffee in the service department going for anybody who wants a cup...plus he gives me a 10% discount on anything I buy there since i have bought 2 bikes from them? WTF???

I'm pissed....

Never had a break down? You don't know what your missing. You need to put more miles on, keep the bikes longer, and neglect maintenance.
Of course just putting that statement in writing may curse you enough to make you happy.

 

Same here at my dealer, always free coffee and homemade cookies. Everyone in the store is friendly and knowledgeable, especially the techs!

 

Same here, at our dealer (son & I) are greeted by all who see us. wrenchs will talk and answer questions when asked, parts guys know what there doing.

Always free coffee or choice of soda from a fountain, Popcorn usually, not always.

With 15% off parts as long as U keep both hog cards, if U buy new there.

 

That's the way things should be! I've owned at leat 5 Harley's purchased new from the same dealership... and 2 used Harley's from individuals.. And none have had any unexpected break-downs.... "Knock on Wood"... I attribute that.. to the fact I don't fiddle with tune-up's, excessive exhaust and breather work.

I get 15% off all chrome and clothing purchases and the 1000 mile service is only $250.. including oil, filter, lubs etc.... +tax..

Yeah I like my dealer(s) too, I get pretty much the same treatment as you.

I have broken down before but it was an older abused police bike that had seen better days, I no longer have it.
