Freshly fertilized farms, that amonia smell is rank.
Following garbage trucks is something to avoid also ...

I have never smelled anything unpleasant while riding, but my wife has! I always blame it on the road-kill we just passed. I think she knows better though.

Caught up to a truck in rural Montana just as we came to a construction zone.
A pilot car led us thru 5 miles of dirt road..when we cleared the construction
zone..pulled out to pass and got pissed on..It was a cattle truck.
As far as smell go.. I really don't like it when a car pulls out in front of us and
they are smoking..with the windows open.. I either pass them or turn and take another direction.

I'd have to agree with the "pig farm" as worst smell . As for worst thing I got hit with , it's a toss up between a june bug once at high speed and some dumb a$$es LIT cigarette but he just tossed out the window without a care one time .

I didn't get "hit" by it but was at a friend's house on the lake one day and we walked down to his boat dock. A dead carp had washed up onto the launch ramp and I nonchalantly kicked it back into the water. I had on a really nice pair of shark skin cowboy boots and as soon as the boot connected with the carp a bunch of green, gooey liquid exploded from the fish and all over my boot. I had to leave the boots sit in the garage for about a month before the smell finally diminished enough that I could bring them into the house. His blue heeler dog also loved to roll on a dead carp.

Gotta love the smell of a bakery or donut shop.

I like the smell of freshly cut and newly fertilized fields in Amish country. Mushroom houses can get pretty rank but I agree that nothing is worse than a pig farm.

Landfills can be real bad but road kill that's been in the Georgia sun for 2 days makes me retch. If I see it in time I'll hold my breath until I'm a mile past it.

I love the smell of Wisteria on a cool night and fresh cut grass or lumber and I love riding past the local steak house. But nothing can beat my wife when she's riding behind me wearing Chanel No. 5.

Summer evenings the wife and I may go for a little ride along the river, sometimes she leads on her starter bike (Honda Rebel). I smell the salty flavor of Soy sauce and Basmati, usually dissipates when I take the lead back, as this, is only tolerable for short periods.
