Stan's is one of the better dealers around. I've been there many times. You live near there or in Md?

Hay if you can afford it buy new for your first bike, go for it. I think it would be wise to get an used bike to polish up your skills. It will also give you time to learn what you are into. Ride around some, check out some other riders bikes kind of stuff. You ain't even on the JV team yet?

I can speak to that. It's very up to date with some surprises, yet it's like dealers used to be. Mom, pop, son's and daughters. Very active and down to earth.

my girl friend lives in albion,ny about 15 maybe 20 miles up the road. So i thought what the heck lets check stan's. And let me tell you they are a class operation no bs what so ever,(my local dealer didnt even make a counter offer) from the time i called(did most of the buy over the phone)to stopping in and signing the paper work. And they have it in storage(at no charge)til the weather gets a little better and i can drive up and get her

that one of the things i love about stan's...the guy starts out working on bikes out of his garage. Then he starts servicing the bikes for the batavia police dept. He opens stan's harley davidson i think in 1954 out of his garage. Gotta luv it

Be thinking about what accessories you may want. Dealers are sometimes stuck on MSRP but will deal on mods and scheduled maintenance. Just like buying a car, do your research, make your offer and walk out.
Also after you get your license look for demo days, most of them require that you have at least 1 year experience but you can try to get a test ride.
